The Youtube phenomenon is back to prove all the haters wrong…again…
Plaqueboymax has committed the past few months of his life entirely to learning, growing, and perfecting music. Tapping into beats from around the globe, like brazilian funk, some spanish lattina sounds, he’s proven time and time again that he is here to stay. Not even just to stay, but to be great.
‘Too Much Music’ is a masterpiece from whatever angle that you look at it. From the cover that struck mass debates on twitter about homage, because it’s that good! To the numerous different sounds and perspectives that he gives us on the album.
Max taps in with a more angelic sound on ‘FellOff’, where he expresses his heartbreak feelings with a special lady, singing over a soft guitar and drums in the back. While PBM taps into new sounds and shows his versatility, he doesn’t completely abandon the run game. On ‘WakeUp’, he instantly dives back into the sound that his fans love. The deep sonic beat with a fast tempo, rockstar lifestyle theme is where we come back to his original sound.
Overall, on top of the music, I love that Max hasn’t completely abandoned his streams either. With numerous fans across the world feeling like they have been apart of his journey, he understands that, and continues to work both on and of camera.
