Merging the bridges between Atlanta and Florida sounds, Percaso and Tezzus are able to delivery a prokect that does exactly that. Albeit both artists sounds are not known to be directly representative to their native surroundings but it’s still nice to get the best of both worlds in ‘SØUFSIDE’. With both artists knocking on the door of the hip-hop mainstream, it’s to no one’s surprise that coming together would deliver something unworldly.

With features from other stars like DIORVSYOU and *Diamond, the project definitely doesn’t shy away from being all out energy and raging 808’s. The album feels like it gets right up into your face, just how we like it. The beats are packed with the deep synths, some rager melodies, and outright defiance. These 2 artists coming together have a certain nostalgic feeling to it, allowing listeners to really dive deep into their worlds and you can really feel the hunger and talent that they both have.

Both artists have goes and their moments to express themselves equally on the project, expressing their personal life’s struggles, trouble with women, and their experience with violence. Tezzus often contrasting Percaso’s deep violent approach on the tracks, but sometimes leaning into and matching his sound bar for bar.

If you are looking for that rager, often grimey, sometimes jerk sound, then it doesn’t get much better than ‘SØUFSIDE’. This project is special, and I hopefully expect to see a sequel of this after a years, because it’s entered a lane of it’s own.
