Seemingly taking the world by storm, where it looks like nothing can get in his way, Che has come out with another album that many adore. The Georgia native rapper his back with his heavy 808’s and unapologetic rager sounds, but with more maturity and a hint of stylised growth.
With references to musical greats such as Lil B The Based God on the opening track, ‘SLAM PUNK’. Showing his appreciation and and ‘in-touchness’ with the depths of the rap game. The whole project leans into Che’s lifestyle of having nice things and a ton of lean tied together with an unlimited amount of energy and raw authentic grunge sounds.
‘REST IN BASS’ holds a bit of uniqueness about it, digressing from some usual distorted rager music that we are used to, almost refined and more intentional art direction from Che. The momentum of the aggressive opening is carried throughout the whole album, and shows Che’s intentions to be in peoples faces like a true ‘ROCKSTAR’.
