It comes as no surprise that we are back with another Nine Vicious article. He seems to be taking over the world, although I see some people hating on his cover arts, I for one am a fan of his covers and the message he is portraying. Most of you that follow the blogs will know that his last EP – B4TM was one of my best listens this year.
The ‘Tumblr Music’ cover art pays homage to the late 2Pac, but the sound is far from that. See Nine is able to pave his own way with his sound but also respect the history and greats of the rap game. As the name of the album suggests, you already know you getting the raw, unapologetic, rockstar sound that we all came to know about Nine Vicious.
You get those gritty, southern trap beats, mixed with some experimental unheard of sounds before that you make you go, “WAIT WHAAAT?!”. the energy here is unhinged and is what I live for, he’s got this unhinged ability that begs you to keep up with him.
Once it’s all said and done, it’s definitely got me reflecting on my life too. It’s got that feeling that inspires you to chase your own hustle, if you know you know. Nine is out here at 22 years old, creating art that pushes boundaries, just inspiring to anyone really.
