The relatively new addition to YSL is seemingly back to his best and continues to not only grow is following, but also constantly growing his sound and pushing boundaries while still staying true to his roots.
I see ‘NewDrug’ is an expansion of Saint’s sound and diving into the underground world with other superstars such as, Diorvsyou, Sk8star, and Apollored1 on the track ‘Set.’, which is a standout on the 6 track EP, being the only song which actually has a feature.
Throughout the EP, and even in the build up to it’s release with 1300’s singles ‘#FKITWBALL’ and ‘BAZO’, the tracks are contagious and have these eerie synths with contrasting melodies from piano tunes.
