NYC seems to almost paving a new wave of hip-hop and Sixbill is right up there leading the charge and pushing the boundaries. Known for his deep synths and raw vocals, ‘Greenwich’ comes in with the exact same energy that we have come to know and love when it comes to the young artist. To me, ‘Greenwich’ seems like a little switch up and almost hitting the brake pedal on the energy, almost a more mature approach but one of my favourites from Sixbill recently.
Throughout the track there is this horrific eerie sound that echoes in the back while the deep bass takes the main stage complimented with the occasional bells. Sixbill’s ability to just flow on such layered sounds speaks levels to his talent and ability to adapt.
