What I consider to be one of South Africa’s best hidden gems, Thuug Boy. Stumbling onto him online a few months ago with his last project, ‘HAVIN FUN YET?’ I just could not get enough. The heartfelt lyrics that he pours into his music, his versatility, and non-stop passion has forced me into a position to call myself a ‘fan’. It’s not the typical ‘sad lyric’ music you would expect as the beats often bend in the other direction, giving Thuug the main stage and making his tracks listenable at any occasion.
These 2 tracks are both filled with high energy and fast beats, and trust me, he didn’t leave anything out. Looking forward to his future projects. ‘Woo-Woo’.
