Like a flower emerging from the depths of the recent jerk-rap, skaiwater offers a unique blend of jerk beats tied together with more personal feelings and a sort of baby voice. I never thought that anyone would even attempt to express their feelings on a jerk beat, but the UK rapper has perfected the sound.
Not all of skai’s songs are jerk beats but I just think it speaks to his talent and his ability to tell a story. One, that expresses his deeper thoughts and how he manages them with all the background noise (Jerk-Beats) going on around the world.
Another thing that surprised me was when I found out that he is from the United Kingdom, as his music suggests nothing close to the UK rap scene. Definitely one of my favourite projects from this star-studded Valentine’s day.
