A very unorthodox post, and one that will go well under the radar. I was scrolling on Twitter and was blessed by the music God’s who allowed this mixtape to pop up on my feed. After looking into Xavier Antony I found that he is a fashion designer that is quite tapped into the underground and you can find his pieces of art on a lot of artists and public figures, most recently – Kai Cenat, who was seen rocking the XA bubble belt.
Xavier was able to get together a group of underground Avengers and produce a sound mixtape that adds another sense of feeling to his brand – SOUND. The track lists consists of artists such as Sk8star, Diorvsyou, Rollin Thrax and many more. While the mixtape has it’s own sound of the modern day undergound, the inspiration must have come from Odd Futures – ‘OF Tape’ series.
I haven’t been on Soundcloud for a while now, but if there is one reason to go onto it, ‘XA Tapes’ is definitely worth it. If you are a fan of any of the artists involved, it’s well worth giving it a listen, or even if you are not familiar with any of them – this is a great introduction to any of the artists.
