I never know what to expect heading into a Babytron album, he always manages to extend his creative flow and sound. One thing I do know, he is consistent when it comes to spitting bars, and LT2 is no different.
The sequel comes 4 years after the originals launch, with what you can say, is a much different time in the Detroit artist’s career and had much smaller fanbase. This left me some question marks regarding exactly what Tron we are getting, but I can safely say that he has stuck to his roots and seemingly merged his sound together with the new experimental beats that are massive throwbacks to the early 80’s, with the track ‘Caveman’ sampling the Who wants to be a millionaire sound. This guy is truly unstoppable.
Babytron continues to delivery his hard-hitting bars and sample unique retro sounds, that really only he can deliver on. I think that’s where most people miss out on understanding the Detroit rapper, what he does, really only he can achieve to such a successful level.
