Following up on his hit single, Mzansi4sho, Bigaj! takes us into a deeper, more refined realm of his come up with his signature spacious flow. Building a reputation for his unique vocals and almost spacey beats, AJ! treats us with another project to remember. ‘pure clarity’ is exactly what it says it is and the ideas in which the project explores. With no features, AJ! stunts a little bit giving us a 15 track album that keeps us longing for more artistry from the South African artist.
Aj! takes a dive in and explores ideas of his relationships and celibacy on the track ‘believe’, which seemingly flows effortlessly with the deep synths and airy guitars. If you are looking for a more upbeat and less intense lyrical track, then ‘shutup and listen’ offers those deep 808s and hard hitting bass, until it ultimately switches up and offers a great contrast to itself with a more subtle flow in the back end of the track.
Overall the album offers a lot of value and spoils to his fans and fellow listeners. He is able to flex on some tracks, rightly so. While on others he takes us more into a more relatable world for an everyday human. It’s B-I-G forever.
